I like this name. At my high school I knew a boy named Nikhi (pronounced like "Nicky") who was half-Indian, half-white. I'm sure it was a variant of Nikhil, or maybe just a nickname for it.

If I was a boy I would have been called this. It is a nice name, even if it does sound slightly like nickel.
