We thought my Norsk name, Olaf, would be common in Iceland. Instead, we saw Olafur which is fine! Even better, I learned my middle name Oliver may be related or derived from Olafur to fit with my 100% Norsk 1st and last names. I have a new appreciation of Oliver after our visit to Iceland.
