I like the name Paulina it's pretty, easy to spell and pronounce, ageless and personally I think it's way better and prettier than Paula and Pauline.
Sweet and lovely. Beautiful. Polly is a cute nickname. I like how Paulina is said with Eastern European, Latin and English speaking accents (basically all accents I've heard it in and I'm sure all others too :) )
A very pretty name, feminine and womanly, recognizable in many languages. I don’t know why people feel the need to share that they know one person with a name or have heard of one person with a name, and that it has tainted their impression. This is true of literally every name in use — someone knows that person and has an impression of the person. It isn’t relevant, unless the association is culturally pervasive.
I have known a couple people named Paula who I liked and this name is a prettier alternative, but all I think about is "Paulina Novacek", the arms dealer from the movie Undercover Blues.
My mother wanted to name me Paula. I'm glad that my dad vetoed that one. I went to school with a girl named Paulina & that was the first time I had ever heard the name. It's so pretty! It doesn't even need a nickname. I would not have minded Paulina as my name!
"Paulina" is beautiful.
I used to like this name because it reminded me of Wayne Gretzky's beautiful daughter.
But now that hideous woman on Days of our Lives has ruined it for me.
I know a girl called Lina so this sounds a bit wrong to me. Like “Poor Lina”.
Beautiful.
Gorgeous. It says beautiful woman to me. I like Paulina de la Mora off House of Flowers, the Spanish soap opera. Also the name of my favorite niece.
So beautiful! I love it much better than Paula. This is such a beautiful name, I can imagine many nicknames for it, such as Polly, (maybe spelled Pauly or Paulie?) Lina, Aulie, etc. I definitely want to name a child this name. So pretty!
I was born with this name, liked it growing up but started to hate it. To me now, it just sounds ugly.
A gorgeous, international name. I like the meaning "humble." I also like the Shakespeare reference from a Winter's Tale. The origin of this name is from ancient Rome and it's been in use in the US since before 1880, so I would say it's classic.
I like the nickname Polly for Paulina.
Paulina is a beautiful name. Not common and sounds good for a child and adult female. I actually love all spellings of this name in various languages. It doesn't change much and I like that.
Love it. A nickname wouldn't do it justice.
Very pretty name. I knew a Polish girl who had this name.
Pretty name. I picture a nice, friendly, Hispanic girl.
This is pretty. :)
Strongly dislike this name, it sounds revolting.
