This sounds more like a name for a little kid, and it has also been used as a name for a cartoon teddy bear in Finland.

Rasmus is in Swedish considered very cute, and is by most people associated with a very well-behaved and nice boy. This is probably due to a couple of very famous Rasmuses in Swedish fairy-tales and stories. Good choice if you want a Swedish-sounding name for your son!
