Sal

This name always reminds me of Sal from Wadanohara and the great blue sea.

Very country-like to me.

I picture the name Sal on a tough guy who has jet-black hair that's slicked back.

I like the name Sal on it's own (Though Salvatore is nice)
Sal on its own even as a nickname, sounds purely masculine
