Sanford Clark (October 24, 1935 – July 4, 2021) American rockabilly and country singer who was known for his 1956 hit "The Fool".
Sanford Plummer (Ga-yo-gwa-doke; 1905–1974) was a Seneca (Native American) narrative watercolor painter from New York state. He painted works portraying traditional life and culture of the Seneca and people of other Iroquois nations. His works are held by the Iroquois Indian Museum, as well as Buffalo Museum of Science, Rochester Museum and Science Center, and the Newark Museum.
Sanford Wheeler (previously known as Matthew Wheeler; 1970 – 2020) was an Australian rules football player for the Sydney Swans. He is notable as being the first African-American born player in the history of the AFL and one of few players from the United States to play in the Australian Football League. A highlight was being selected in the New South Wales state team for the 1993 State of Origin Championships.
