Saundra

I think that the name Saundra has a combination of dignity and lightness. It reminds me of a library filled with noble books, and yet of a light green willow branch in spring.

My guess is that many Americans pronounce this name in an annoying nasal style, at least the ones who have this name, and the people around her. Ahem, no offense, but this sounds a bit like the name of, umm, certain rather annoying, loud-mouthed, trashy sort of people. Plus, it sounds like the name of an obese middle-aged woman who is obnoxious. I don't know what this sounds like in Scotland, but surely better.
