Severine Ferrer is a French singer who represented Monaco in 2006 Eurovision with "La Coco Dance". She did not qualify for the semi final however.
In the 1967 film Belle de Jour, Catherine Deneuve plays a particularly sensual woman named Severine. Another usage is in the 2012 James Bond movie Skyfall, where Severine is one of Bond's love interests. It seems to be the feminine form of the name Severin, which is the main character of the erotic novel Venus in Furs. It also seems like the name is usually used for femme fatale characters.
