Sela

I think this is a very pretty name and is bound to gain popularity soon. It is short and has a very nice sound, and is very similar to the biblical word turned name Selah, which was in the 300s of the popularity chart. Sela might arise as a variant spelling of Selah, or as a result of parents finding this awesome name.

I absolutely love the name Sela. I plan to name my firstborn daughter Sela. I think it sounds very simple but pretty, and unique but not in a weird way.

Why so much hate for Sela?! Pretty, and sweet name. Like the meaning. Also agree with duckie430.

This name is quite interesting. Never have I met a Sela in my lifetime but I would very much like too. You know if someone had boy/girl twins they could name them Sela and Cepheus because both of them mean "Rock". Now that's cool.
