I honestly love this name! My sister is named Selina and she is kind, loving and smart. She loves her name as well, and she's very proud of it. It is also very unique, and I love the spelling! When it comes to spelling… I recommend you to use this name instead of Selena.
I love this spelling.
Such an enchanting name! I like this spelling more than Selena.
I'm a Selina - named after my great grandmother. I've always loved my name and had lots of nice comments about it. It's not that common in the UK but I have met a couple of Selina's before (albeit with different spellings). I love that it's derived from the Greek moon goddess too! The shortened version in my family is Nina (which I love and use regularly) and occasionally Sel with work colleagues (which I don't like but people love to shorten things!)
My mum named me Selina but I didn't like it at all so I stopped using it.
This is a pretty name. Much better and more historical than Selena.
I looked it up in a dictionary and it said heavenly. The person who has this name is usually pretty, refined and intelligent. They are also understanding and passionate. It is a beautiful name.
I adore this name! My great-great-grandmother's name was Selina. I think it's so refined and romantic, and reminds me of a Victorian beauty.
To me I picture Selina as beautiful Hispanic little girl. I want to name my daughter Selina. I am so attached to this name. It's so pretty.
Selina tends to be a name reserved for an elite class of women. They are amoung the most beautiful and tend to be able to understand the mind of the opposite sex. Thier beauty is only surpassed by thier intelligence.
This was my great-grandmother's name. I like it a lot. Very pretty and feminine yet relatively uncommon in today's world.
