Shanice

In my opinion, I absolutely love this name and think it sounds very pretty. People do often pronounce it wrong though, I met someone named Shanice and she pronounced it sha-neese not sha-nice as some people would think. If it were pronounced that way, I would hate the name.

My younger sister's name is Shannice (pronounced Shuh-neice). A lot of people would mispronounce the name as Shan-niss, like Janice without the J. People are also, sometimes, surprised to find out she's white. I don't know how she feels about her name, but I think it's cute and suits her spunky personality. I also like how it sounds with her middle name, Nicole. I think Shannice is a pretty name that sounds fun, but not frivolous. It works for all ages and is underused, in my opinion.

Ugly and tacky name.

I knew a girl in high school named Shonice, which was pronounced much the same way Shanice is. I'm not sure if they are related names. Anyway, I actually think Shanice is a nice name.

This name is kind of pretty but it sounds kind of ghetto.
