I think this looks a lot more sophisticated than Charla—even though a part of me thinks that "this name is just TOO phonetic and basic..."
My name is Sharla. I was named after my mother's childhood through college friend. I was always told that Sharla was chosen as a female variant of Charles.
Sounds tacky to my ears.
I was told Sharla means Lotus flower in India. I love my name, it is very unique & my daddy named me Sharla lea' with an accent mark on lea.
My name is Sharla and I've never met anyone with the same name as me. It's pretty unqiue. I hated it as a kid but now that I'm grown up I love how different it is!
Sharla is way better than Charla. I have known a Charla who would've died for her name to be Sharla.
