Pretty name! For both genders.
Very pretty for a girl!
I like Sora - it's pretty, but simple, and easy to pronounce in multiple languages. The meaning is nice too.
Really pretty, youthful, mature, and cute.
Really cute, but I wouldn't use it.
Sore-uh. I really dislike the sound and look.
Love it.
One of the very few names that I think fits a boy and a girl perfectly.
Sora sounds more feminine to me than masculine- it also sounds more like a middle name. It reminds me of 'sorrel', which is a term for a reddish-brown horse.
Saying that you can't name your child something Japanese is like saying you can't name your child Sarah because of the Hebrew origin; if you have that opinion, then I hope your child(ren) only have names like Wayne and Raven.
I love the name Sora! The name Sora makes me think of the main character Sora in Kingdom Hearts and the character Sora in Digimon. It suits both genders perfectly fine. :D I love that the origin of this name is Japanese as I adore Japanese names. ^_^
No thanks. I'd rather not have my name associated with a video game character. I do like Kingdom Hearts, but it would be kind of ridiculous to name your kid Sora after the main character, especially if you're not Japanese.
I think it's fine on either gender, unlike some other "unisex" names today. It sounds boyish and brave, and yet at the same time, it's pretty and soft. It truly is a unisex name.
I think this is beautiful, as is the meaning.
I prefer Sora as a boy's name but it is good as a girl's name. Maybe it's because it has grow on me since I have played KH.
Awesome name. I like it a lot. A friend of mine has a boy ferret with this name, inspired by Kingdom Hearts. I thought it was cute and can be a person/animal/boy's name.
I like this name better for a girl, but it's generally a good name for either gender. The meaning is very nice also.
I love this name, it is so cool. It is cool as a guy or girls name I think. I've heard of it on Kingdom Hearts as a guy and Digimon as a girl and think the name suits them both well. It is well-rounded for any gender.
I like the name Sora a lot. I first heard it as a female name in "Digimon" and later in "Kingdom Hearts" as a male name. I think it makes a much better female name, in my opinion.
