I would've thought it was said "Sooze-et", but Suy-zet is pretty too. I love the French dessert so I'd definitely use this name on a girl baby. Why not name your kid after something you love?
I love the name Suzette--it's so French! My name is Suzanne, also a French name though I'm American. As a Suzanne I've always had the nickname Suzy but sometimes I wish I'd gone by Suzette instead. At least it wouldn't be mispronounced as Susan (or spelled Susie or Susy instead of SuZy). The name Suzette is feminine, classy yet pert and fun. It calls to mind one of the women in the painter Renoir's 'Luncheon of the Boating Party'.
Suzette is super cute. I love Susan, Suzanne, Susanna and Suzanna, too.
Reminds me too much of Crêpe Suzette, the French dessert.
The name Suzette was given to 38 baby girls born in the US in 2012.
Like it. Elegant and sweet. Suzi and Suki are nice nicknames.
Yes, I think this name is really quite nice, and really not overused at all, and Suzie/Sukie are really cute nicknames. :)
It's my name but spelled Suzzette. I like it because it's not overused.
