Too pretentious and too British. And as someone of Eastern European ancestry, I don't understand how James Bond managed to think this was a real Eastern European last name - it isn't!
Kudos to the makers of "GoldenEye" for giving its villain an ethnically English surname that sounds Armenian/Eastern European (since his parents were supposed to have been Cossacks). Not sure I'd ever use this name, though.
The name sounds okay, but it is a little awkward for me to say.
This name seems very "ethnic" sounding to me.
