Valdís

What do you suppose the other world is like? I am swept up in a vision of it now. Valdis, then, must be a guardian of the souls who have been laid down to rest. She speaks to the throbbing heartbeat between the earthly realm and the astral domain, reminding us that our bodies are impermanent but our souls will continue forever, writing out new dreams.
