In my opinion, Violet looks better.

My name is Violette, and I like the name very much. I think it is unique since most Violette's are spelled like Violet. The only thing is that sometimes people read my name as Violetta, and when people try to spell my name they spell it as Violet.

My sister's name is Violette. It is spelled that way, too. I think my parents chose it because it isn't very popular in the U.S. I really like the name Violette, and I wish that my name was that, instead of Lucy. Although I like the name Lucy very much, I think Violette is a fragile and gentle name.

It looks a bit over the top, but Violet is a pretty name and this variant is no exception. It's a little too much for me to ever use, but I like it.

The moment I saw this name, I instantly fell for its sheer beauty. I had previously liked the name Violet, though only to a certain extent. But when I saw this name, I kindled an admiration for not only this name, but for other names with similar meanings. To generalise, I just find this name stunning, and I would simply love to give this name to a young girl.

This is the name of my first daughter and to me it is a "Grand", "Elegant" and Beautiful name. For some reason her name reminds me of royalty (maybe because she's my princess), it's a lovely name. And that French touch at the end ("ette") makes it perfect!

I loved the name Violet, and I have a thing for names that end in "ette". But when I heard the name Violette, I'm all, "Jeez, this is soooo my new favourite name!"

This is my name! I love it, and wouldn't want any other. However, it gets a bit annoying when most people spell it "Violet". Everyone pronounces it Vi-oh-let rather than Vee-oh-lette.

I like the name Violet, but I dislike the way it's pronounced -- VIE-oh-let. For some reason, I have a bit of difficulty pronouncing it. However, Violette has a much better pronunciation, and a nickname can be "Vi" (pronounced "vee") or "Lettie" instead of "Vie."

I love this variation! It sets the name apart from Violet, and it looks very elegant. I loved the name Violet until I saw this spelling.
