I'm surprised no one has mentioned the renowned American actor, Denzel Washington.
Here are several Washington's: The state, the Washington D.C., and, the most obvious, George Washington.
There’s also George Washington Parke Custis, George Washington’s step-grandson/adopted son; he’s also known for writing plays and memoirs of his life growing up with George and Martha Washington.
If you wish to honor George Washington, you can name your child George, Christopher, or Jackson. The reason I say this is because the person who plays George Washington in the musical Hamilton is named Christopher Jackson.
Washington Allston (1779-1843) was an American painter and writer.
George Washington died in 1799, not 1797. That's the year he left the presidency. [noted -ed]
George Washington was the first president of the United States of America.
What about Washington Irving? Also, the capitol of the United States of America is Washington, D.C. (named after George Washington).
This is also a state (an ugly one in my opinion) in the USA.
George Washington Carver was a great inventor.
