I heard Yael is common among Jewish females. I think Yael is a very good name, for a girl.
My mom's name is Yael. It is definitely feminine and it is pretty interesting.
Yael is a beautiful name, it is a very brave name. The name Yael makes me think of the name Warrior. Yael is a very beautiful name to have, it has flaws that others don't. Also it is cool since it has a "y" in it, no name has a "y" in it.
Hello everybody! This name is carried by me and I really am proud of my name. I like the story of it and the meaning as well, also the sound of Yael. The thing about the pronunciation...in the English speaking room, people have troubles speaking my name right, but in the German language, where I live, they say Ya'el and that's perfect. I just can recommend that name as a human being called Yael.
Lovely strong name. I know a Yael with a French mother - her name is spelled Yaelle and I think that is the French version. It has the merit of making the pronunciation clearer.
I really like this name and the sound of it but I think it kind of sounds like ya'all.
I can imagine there being a lot of people who would never be able to pronounce this name. It's pretty, but there'll be a lot of Yales in a Yaels future.
I never knew about this name until Yael Naim. I think its really pretty and something you don't hear everyday.
I bet she'll go to Harvard. I know that's not how this name is said, but that is how it looks.
I like this name, along with its anglicized variant, Jael, but it may be mispronounced as "Yale," which is okay, but not nearly as gorgeous as the proper pronunciation.
This is my favourite Biblical character, and I think that "Ya'el" is much prettier than "Jael".
