I like this name! I would also love to be 80 years old and have it!
No one stays Young forever.
There is one person in my class named Young. He doesn't get teased about his name.
It does sound nice in Korean, but I would not recommend this in English. It might lead to teasing.
Sounds great on an 80 year old, don't you think?
But Young is a Korean name. In Korea, they speak Korean, not English, so whatever Young means in English is irrelevant. It goes without saying that people in Anglophone countries don't get called Young, but it's fine for someone who lives in Korea. Behind the Name is not a site for you to "find the perfect name for your American baby". It lists common names from many cultures and languages, regardless if they would be usable outside that culture or not.
I know it's a Korean name, it might not be such a good idea to use it in an English speaking country.
