I can't find it on this site, but Zedd is also a variant that I find to be a lot more cool.

The name Zed is fawesome. Yes, British people pronounce the letter 'z' as "Zed" but it doesn't ruin the sound of the name Zed! You have to admit, Zed is cooler than Ed or Ned! :D.
