A romanised relatively modern Chinese name that is normally anglicised as SEAN, for the sake of easier pronunciation and spelling.

Depending on the characters attributed to it, the name may have different significances, both literally and metaphorically. In most cases, the name means "think further" or "think far away" literally, and 'having a promising vision', or "think deep and meaningful" metaphorically; but sometimes it means "think about the origin" literally and "remember your root of family" metaphorically.
