Meaning & History

From Italian sistino "of or pertaining to Pope Sixtus", referring to the Sistine Chapel in the Apostolic Palace, which was named after Pope Sixtus IV (1414-1484), for whom it was built. This is borne by American actress Sistine Stallone (b. 1998), the daughter of actor Sylvester Stallone (b. 1946).
