from Anime/manga Fairy Tail. Zeref the black wizard. when his family was killed by dragons, he became obsessed with resurrecting his dead brother. the planet cursed him with an immortality that would take the lives of all things he loved as Zeref's punishment for playing with life and death. he then created demons in hopes that they could kill him, but none of them were strong enough. he used his demon making technique to revive his younger brother, and then gave his brother to a friend to raise. 400 years later, his curse even begon to make his thoughts contradict themselves, and he decided he would go back in time to rewrite history from a point when he was not cursed. however, his brother stopped him, and another who was under the same curse came and their curses killed each other.
