Meaning & History

Celt-iberic god in ancient Portugal and spain, probabily an important deity due to its meaning, from celtic #Ende#, "more", and #Vell#, "better", "more" and "better" would thus have the same meaning as #Optimus#, that is, "Excellent". It was found also in spanish stone inscriptions with slight spelling variations such as Indobelicus, Andovel and more.
