Meaning & History
The name Bisharo means "bringer of glad tidings" or "bringer of joy." It is believed to derive from the Somali word "bishaar" (or "bishaaro"), which literally means "good news." The name has been in use since at least the 12th century, appearing in oral poetry and folk tales. Notable bearers include poet Bisharo Guyo and diplomat Bisharo Abdi.
