I love Atticus. Always have. Of course, as I'm sure others have commented, it will forever be associated with Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird. That's what I love about it, though. It's a great character to have as a namesake.

It's too out there except as a middle name, imo. I do quite like Scout for a girl, although I wouldn't use it.

Seems a bit much. I love the namesake Atticus Finch, but to actually saddle your kid with such a big name? I dunno.

My first thought is "To Kill A Mockingbird" which isn't a bad association. The name has been growing on me though I still don't care for the "attic" in the name.

I love Atticus! Some combos I like are William Atticus & John Atticus, but he'd go by his mn.

It's one of my favorite names. Atticus Robert is my favorite combo. for it.

It's not the worst name ever but I think it's way too over-the-top for daily usage. I also generally dislike names ending in -us.

One of my new discoveries! I'm starting to like it really very much, but I do have a problem with finding a proper mn. My somewhat extravagant taste in names likes the combo Rupert Atticus, but that's all I can think of right now.

i suppose most people would probably link it to 'To kill a Mockingbord' but i think it is a really cute name. A friend's aunt called her baby Atticus, he's now 3 months old (and so cute!) i like the combos Atticus Benjamin and Atticus Henry!

All I can think of is "To Kill a Mockingbird". But I do like it, although I'd never use it. I can't think of any names that would complement it...
