It's not my usual style at all but for some reason I do like this one. It just sounds pretty. Tawny Kathleen is very nice!

It's pretty. I can't seeing it ageing that well though ... It'll probably bit like seeing names like Minnie on elderly women now. I find the spelling Tawney more substantial.

I like Tawny but it is a bit 'porn star', I knew a few gypsies with this name though (spel Tawnie) so I have good associations with itTawny Kathleen flows nicelyalice x

I don't think of a porn star or bimbo anything specific like that, but the name does sound very .. simple, sort of countrified, or rustic. I guess it's the -aw- part (I associate it with written dialect, like the word dog as "dawg"), the lightness of the consonants, plus the color meaning, that make it that way. - chazda

I dont mind Tawny it would sound nice with a different middle name i dont like kathleen

While the combo has a nice flow I strongly dislike Tawny. To me Tawny is on par with names like Bambi, Bunny and Sissy. It just seems to say to me that the bearer better be cute because her brain won't be getting her anywhere.

I don't want to sound to harsh, but to me Tawny is a cliche porn star name. I can't think of it any other way.

I like Tawny, I've always thought it was cute/different, but I'm not much for Kathleen, although it is a family name in my family. The combo is nice though.

I don't like Tawny. Kathleen is nice, though.
It's a nice color but not something I would use for a name. And for lack of a better way to phrase it, I agree about it sounding weak, like someone named Tawny would be ditzy.

Tawny is such a weak name to me. It's also an orange/brownish color. I do like Kathleen.

My name is an orange/brownish/yellow color (Amber), so I think it might be neat.

If you're trying to use a form of honoring, maybe, then I would suggest using Tawny as a middle name, if that's your goal in using the name.

I really dislike Tawny, any spelling. I don't like the way it looks or sounds...it reminds me of "yawn", and also I'm not fond of the colour.Kathleen is nice, though :-)~ Cait
