[Opinions] Cassie and Cassiopeia
After posting this, I realized that I am in love with Cassiopeia nn Cassie. I think its quirky, yet classic. Do you guys think Cassiopeia could work on a modern female?

Cassiopeia is fun because of the story, but she's not a great "role model". I've never cared for Cassie, but I'd really love to meet a real life Cassiopeia. Can't say she would have to go by Cassiopeia B. or anything. hehe.-Seda*

Someone else who likes it. :-)I decided tonight that I adore Cassiopeia Truth, and Ken told me that I was insane. I still think Cassiopeia Truth is a great name, and I'd really use it!Siri

I actually quite like Cassiopeia myself. I've never been a fan of Cassie and especially not Cassandra, but Cassie as a nn for Cassiopeia is quite nice. I could see it for a girl and a lady.

I like it a lot. I think it's very cute and, as you said, still classic. I'd love to see it on a girl today. I also like the nn Cassie.

I think it could work. I like the name, but I am a bigger fan of the original Greek form of Kassiepeia.

I love Cassie, but really dislike Cassiopeia. The emphasis on the "pee" part of the name sounds awkward and I think it would cause a lot of teasing. I much prefer Cassie as a nickname Cassandra or Cassia.

Definitely. It doesn't sound prissy or victorian or romantic, but it has an air of ancient times about it. I think it would work welll on a preppy, happy sort of girl.

I think its adorable.

I think Cassie is great, but Cassiopeia is a bit out there (I'm also afraid of teasing at school since in English it has "pee" in it).

I think Cassiopeia is really pretty, but not usable. Maybe as a middle name, but even then, I can't see it on a real person. It'd be nice for a character :-)_____________________________________________________________________"My universe is laced around your wrist; I am the bracelet you sport."Elinor
