[Opinions] Daphne and Liora
I've begun to see both on the boards of late, and I'm curious if people think they might catch on. Liora (or Leora) seems unlikely, but Daphne I can really see. What do you guys think? I don't really care about Daphne, it's a name I probably wouldn't use. But Liora, I do care about. What other names do you guys think will become popular? And totally off topic: Do Daphne and Liora sound good for sisters?

I don't see Liora becoming hugely popular or trendy, no. It's a gorgeous name, but unless it is used by a celeb or for a character in a movie, etc. (has some significant exposure sometime soon), I don't really see it shooting up the charts. A very good thing, for sure. :b BTW - Daphne & Liora definitely sound good for sisters, IMO.

I hate both names! Although Daphne and Liora could make a good sibset!

I'm loving Daphne atm. I'm hoping it doesn't become too popular, but it certainly could. The sisterset I like most right now is Daphne Emerald and Iris Julia. I think Daphne and Liora would be lovely as sisters as well.

I did notice those names have been mentioned a lot, lately. I really like Liora (it's one of my top 3) but Daphne is one of the names that are simply not my style. No real reason, I just don't care about it at all. I do see Daphne becoming a lot more popular in the near future. Not so much Liora - at least I hope so! :)

Daphne is a chart climber. It's been one of my favorites for years and it's only recently that I've seen such wide admiration for it. I used to mostly get Daffy Duck and scoopy doo criticism. Now everyone and their sister seems to love it. Liora is nice, but I don't see it becomes too popular.

Yes, I do think they sound nice together. Daphne would have been Will's name had he been a girl. We've pretty much decided on no more children, but it's still in the top three if we had a girl. I, also, can see Daphne becoming fairly popular. Liora not so much (though it's lovely as well).
