What do you think of Margaret, with the nickname Greta?
I want to use Margaret in my second child's name somewhere if it is a girl. The two combos I have in mind at the moment are Rosalie Margaret "Rosa" and Margaret Elise "Greta".
What do you think of these two? Big brother is Harvey Elliott and last name is Carter... but could become Connolly.

Margaret is beautiful. Classic and classy, not to mention how sweet Greta is. I personally love Meg also. I would much prefer Margaret Elise, just because I've never been a Rosalie fan. It's too "cutesy" sounding to me. Margaret Elise and Harvey Elliot would sound quite nice together.

Margaret is one of my favourite names. I prefer Maggie as a nickname for Margaret, but Greta works well enough and it's such a wonderful name, too.
Rosalie Margaret flows very well together. I'd prefer something along the lines of Rosaleen Margaret, but Rosalie is an understated beauty of a name.
My favourite of the two names you've listed is Margaret Elise. Simply stunning.

I like Margaret with the name "Greta". If my name was Margaret, I wouldn't go by Margaret!
I like both Rosalie Margaret and Margaret Elise. Since I prefer Rosalie, and the nickname Rosa, I'd have to go with Rosalie Margaret.
I don't really like the name Margaret. So, I'm biased toward having it as a middle name, rather than a fist name. I think the middle name Elise sounds good with practically every combo, and it's not over-used like Rose, so I like Margaret Elise as well.

I am not keen on Pearl. If I didn't use Margaret as a middle for Rosalie, it would be Rosalie Jane or Rosalie Terese. The reason being that I like at least one of the names to have some family meaning.
I used Elliott for Harvey's middle name because my sister who died had the middle name of Ellen. Rosalie is linked to my middle name and that of my Cousin, which is Rose, and Margaret was the middle name of my Great-Grandmother who passed away last year.
If I have another girl, I would use Jane (my Great-Aunt's name) or Terese (my Grandma's Middle name is Teresa and My Mum is Tracy) I am big on family names!
