I love it; dh hates it. He thinks Miranda Rights.

I adore Miranda, especially with the nickname Mira.

Miranda is not too common, and it's a wonderful name. I only know 2 people with this name. I know more people with my name then people named Miranda! One of the people I know spells it with a y.

If I had a twin, she would've been Miranda Mary-Ann (spelling?). The middle name would've been after my grandmother, and I think my mom just likes the name Miranda. I like it too, and it was on my personal name list for awhile.

She is about 25 years old, and used to attend my church.

I've never been a fan personally, though it does seem to be my style. I prefer Melinda.

It's great. It sounds "stronger" to me than most other "classic" type names that are popular right now.

Miranda is a beautiful name, but I really dislike the nickname Randy, and would insist on Miri or Mira

I really love it, and would seriously consider using it. It's wonderfully Shakespearian. I've known two Mirandas, a child and an older woman, and it worked well with both ages. I love the combo Miranda Winter.

My niece is named Miranda, but she's never been called anything but Mira. I find that sad - Miranda is such a lovely gem of a name. Lot of history and fairly uncommon. I prefer it with no nickname. :-D
