[Opinions] Louise/Louisa

How come, that it's not in the top 1000 in the US for almost two decades now!? I can't think of anything being wrong with the name, for me it has the same class as Charlotte, Amelia and Elizabeth, kind of European, noble sounding. Am I missing something? Why is it not more popular? Opinions please! TIA!
