I've recently been digging Simon and Julian. Julian is after a character in a novel that both my bf and I like, Simon just sounds cool. Plus, Xander likes both.

Anders has also climbed to the top of my list after looking through my family tree. There are quite a few, and I think it would be a neat way of honoring my history. What do you think?

Finally, what do you think of the combo Karl Johann? It's quite common in my family tree, and it's a favorite.

I love Simon and Julian. Both are classy but not too popular.

Anders seems like a diminutive to me for some strange reason. I find it a bit cutesy (or like more than one Ander).

Karl Johann is fine. I like Johann, but Karl is abrupt and harsh-sounding, especially with the K.

Julian has been growing on me too actually, both after an actor i really like and a character from a book lol, i also love Anders.

Karl Johann is ok juts not my style, i like Johann just not Karl (although i do prefer it with a K)

None of the names are particularly my style, though none are bad, but I really like Johann. Anders is interesting and a neat honoring as well. Karl Johann goes well, even if Karl isn't a personal fave.

Simon is great.

I like Julian also. A lot of people say it's pretentious and feminine, and their opinions have been poisoning me lately, but it's one of my favorite of the Roman emperor names.

Anders is all right. It's very surnamey to me because of people I know whose last name is Anders. I like it better than Andrew though.

Karl Johann is awesome.
