[Facts] Kelly, Bennett and Shirley
In the manga Emma by Kaoru Mori (I think), set in late 19th century England, you can find an old lady called Kelly. In Kaoru's manga Shirley there is not only a young girl called Shirley, but also a young woman called Bennett. Were these names used for girls this early? I know that Charlotte Brontë made Shirley fashionable for girls in the middle of the 19th century, but here it's given to a young girl from the working-class.An Aspie's Life, part I
