I'll admit Julie does seem dated to me. I do like it, though.

I like Julie a lot. My mom's name is Julia and a lot of her friends call her Julie. I like both names. Julie is sweet and I'd like to see it on more babies.

DatedDated... it makes me think of women in their 40's and 50's (I know many in this age range with this name)

I think it's pretty and classy, even though I possibly prefer Julia.

I've never minded the name to be honest. I think it works well on a female of any age. I think this name may see a revival in a few years actually.

I love the name Julie! It's one of my favorites, and has been for a long time. I don't consider it to be dated, and I think it ages well. Sweet and simple...great name imo.

I can't stand Julie, but I'm a little biased since everyone calls me that and I hate it (my name is Julia). I find it dated and very cutesy. It's fine as a nickname, though.

I don't really care for it, but I think it's better as a nn than a full name.

I prefer Julia, and yes, I definitely think it goes with any age. It's timeless too, never too old fashioned!

I love Julie. Julie and Julanne are my favourite Jul- names for girls.Array

It's cute. I'm not really sure how it ages, but I can't imagine an older JUlie, probably because the oldest Julie I know is in sixth grade.

Very cute, but I can't help but see it as dated. I route for all Jul- names respectfully though, so I definitely don't mind it, but I'd probably rather see Julia nn Julie, Julianne nn Julie, Juliet nn Julie, etc.
