[Opinions] Opinions on Tanith?
Tanith is my sister's top runner for her baby if it's a girl (at the moment). Thoughts/opinions on Tanith? Combo ideas? Thanks!

I don't like that it means "serpent lady" but it is very interesting

I've always found it terribly interesting, albeit hard to say, though not necessarily something I'd use personally. Cool, though. :)

Tanith is very pretty, fairly easy to pronounce, simple and yet exotic.

I really like the name Tanith. It's one of the few T names I like. It's exotic-seeming, but doesn't sound self-consciously fanciful, to me. I hope your sister uses it! It seems to me like Tanith would work with a very unusual middle name as well as it would with the usual ... just nothing that has noticeable hissing or buzzing sounds (F, SH, S, K, TH, X, Z) in it. Tanith Medora...? (Medora is an invention of poet Lord Byron, not in the database)

The only thing I can think of when I say Tanith out loud is TANF (pronounced like 'tannif'), 'Temporary Assistance to Needy Families' - a welfare program. That takes away from the name, imo. But what about...Tanith Julia
Tanith Genevieve
Tanith Rebecca
Tanith Zephyrine
Tanith Amelia
Tanith Serenity

Tanith is a pretty, interesting name. Just be sure it goes well with the last name-some don't work at all.
Tanith Rae
Tanith Silvie (or Sylvia)
