[Opinions] Briar
I've always liked the name Briar, but I'm completely loving it lately. What do you think of Briar Linnea as a combo?

Briar is a beautiful name! Briar Linnea is lovely. I don't know if you care or remember, but in the Disney movie "Sleeping Beauty", Princess Aurora was named Briar Rose by the Fairies. They called her Rose, but I think Briar is wondrous!

Briar is one of those really-like-it-but-not-enough-to-probably-ever-use-it names for me. Plus, it's the name of a town near me, which puts me off from using it. I love Linnea, it's definately in the running for me. Briar Linnea is nice. Briar Venera
Briar Vanessa
Briar Saphrona
Briar Sophia

Briar sounds masculine to me. I don't like it.

I'm sorry to say that I'm biased against the combo because briars were what plagued many a playtime as a child. I remember falling victim to the thorns several times and having to have my mother or grandmother dig them out with tweezers when they were stuck in the skin too deeply. :) Plus, the term 'briar' is a kind of slur where I come from.As for the combo itself, it has nice flow and Linnea is a decent enough name.

Kind of themey, but it's cute other than that.

I'm assuming you would like Briar Linnea to be used for a girl? Although both of the names are absolutely beautiful, Briar is just too masculine to be on a girl, imo.

Yes, I would use Briar for a girl. I tend to like nature names for the most part.
