My cousin has just had a baby girl called Ava. For one thing I despise this name but that isn't really my point.

My point is, if I ever had a baby girl would calling her Caoimhe (pro. KEE-va) be too similar to Ava, which Caoimhe rmyhmes with?

I really love the name Caoimhe and I am quite annoyed at my cousin for naming her baby a similar yet horrible name to a name that I might use in the future.

Overall my question is this: are Caoimhe and Ava names to similar to be related as second cousins ?
