Thing is, I know so many boys with the fn or mn Ali, I don't see Allie as feminine.
As a full name, it could work. I know grown adults called just Katy, just Charlie, just Billie, etc and they don't seem to have any issues with it. Personally I would keep it as a nn so the child has more options.
