I like it. It's probably not something I'd use, but like you said, it's refreshing. :)

That is refreshing to see I love it. I don't think I'd end up using it, but if I did I would use it as a nickname for Margareta (a family name).

I don't mind it, but I prefer it as a nickname for Margaret. It is refreshing in a sea of Madysynns and Jaiydeighns, though.

I love the name Greta. Actually, the main character of my book that I'm about to start only exists because I was naming the other characters and my friend and I decided there had to be a character named Greta. Hah. I do prefer it as a nickname for Margaret.

There's a Greta on my cross-country team. I think it's a nice name.

I think it is fresh and pretty. Much nicer than the more nicknamery (is that even word?) Gretchen. Greta works well by itself but Gretchen does not.

I meet a lot of Greta's. I hate it.

I love Greta, both as a given name and as a nickname (for Margaret/Margareta).
