I love Beatrice. I think it's very pretty. Not too sure on the Bea or Bee nn though.

I prefer Beatrix and Bellatrix. I agree that Bea / Bee is a cute nickname though.

I've said this before, and everyone is probably sick of hearing it, but I feel like saying it again, just to provide an opposing viewpoint. Beatrice makes me think of beets. It's hideous. I hate it.

I love Beatrice, when pronounced bee-uh-triss. It's a beautiful, elegant name and is among my top five female names (as is Beatrix). It has quite a few nice nickname options for it, too, imo...Bea, Bess, Bets, Betsy, Tess, Tessie, etc.

I dislike Bellatrice.

I love the nickname Bea but not the full Beatrice. So many of my friends mothers are named Beatrice. I like Bellatrice though, it reminds me of Bellatrix from harry Potter.

Beatrice is lovely and classic.
Bellatrice sounds clumbsy to me in comparison.

Beatrice is nice, though I prefer Beatrix. and both of those nicknames are adorable.Bellatrice reminds me of Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter. it's allright, I don't like the name Bella in any form.

I don't mind the name Beatrice, but I personally prefer Beatrix. Bea would be a cute nn for Beatrice. Bellatrice is nms.

I love Bellatrice and Beatrice ONLY pronounced the Italian way, from whence they originated. bee-a-TREE-chay and bel-a-TREE-chay which is just so beautiful. (i also love italian name Chiara, kee-AH-ra)
