I have two cats named Vieka and Sophie. I did not name Vieka. My cousin did because he is obsessed with Russian sounding names (even though I think it should be spelled Vika that way). Usually I just call that one "Bratty." I just wanted to know opinions.

I had never heard Vieka before. Nice. And Sophie's a beautiful name as well. :)

I agree with you that Vieka looks mispelled. I look at it and think Vee-ay-ka. I like Sophie better for a cat (or human) though. It's been one of my long-list names for quite a long time.

Vieka - I don't like the look or the sound of it but it's cute for a cat.

Sophie - ok but I prefer Sophia. It's much more sophisticated and I prefer that sound to Sophie. Sophie sounds so "compact".
