What do you think of the name Deanna (pronounced DE-ARNA ie ryhms with banana)?

Well I like the name, but the way I pronounce it doesn't rhyme with banana! I say it as DEE-anna.

I've never heard it pronounced de-ARNA. There's no "R" in there, so I don't get where that's coming from...?
de-ANNA is my best friend's name, though, so I have good association.

It's ok. I would pronounce it dee-AN-a though. However I do prefer the pronounciation de-ARNA to DEEN-a.

I think it's okay. I've known two people with that name (although met several more). One I despised, but she always went by Dee Dee, so I don't really associate it with her. The other one isn't bad. As far as -anna names go, I like it better than Leanna, but I would like Joanna better.
