[Facts] Planaria (f) and Argimiro (m).
I came across two names of which I would like to know the meaning and origin. The first is Planaria, which was the name of a Caucasian woman in her late 50s who appeared in "Lisa Williams: Life Among The Dead." I think the name is Latin of origin, and I know it has to do with worms (see Planarian on Wikipedia), but I would like to know what its exact meaning would be.As for Argimiro, it is a masculine name which seems to be used predominantly in Spanish-speaking countries. I have a feeling that it is Germanic in origin, just like the name Edelmiro: this is because of the miro part, which goes back to Germanic mar "famous." I just can't figure out the first part of the name, 'argi.'Thank you for your input. :)
