[Opinions] Leo???
I posted a few days ago with our list for boys' names but I just started thinking about Leo and I think it could be a top contender- I love its history and how it's soft but strong at the same time. My only concern is how it sounds with our last name and if it is about to get really popular. I really want to use John as a middle name and might also put Edward in there to honour many family members etc. I would love some thoughts on the name and combos etc. Also, do you think Leo and Scarlett make a good sib-set?Leo John Dovey
Leo John Edward Dovey ( I think I like this the best)
Leo Edward John DoveyLeo Dovey- Dovey is pronounced with a long 'o' like LeoThanks!!

Yeah, sure, Leo Dovey has the repetitive 'o' sound but it's not awful. I say use it. Leo is my favorite male name and since I can't use it, I'm glad someone else can. ;-) Leo and Scarlett sound great together. My favorite combo is Leo John Edward.

Leo and Scarlett make a gorgeous sib set, I really like the sound of it. Leo Edward John Dovey sounds the nicest to me. I don't like Edward Dovey as the d's run into each other.

I prefer Leo as a nn for Leander, personally, and its popularity concerns me a bit (but then I don't even like my names to be in the top 1000!).
I like Leo John Edward Dovey best.

I love how Leo and Scartlett sound together. Leo may be growing more popular...but how could it not? It's such a wonderful name that is bold but not to the extreme of masculinity. Good picking. :]

I think Leo Dovey sounds fine. I think Leo John Dovey flows the best, but Leo John Edward sounds better than Leo Edward John. That's a nice name. And I think Leo and Scarlett would be a fine sibset too.
