Eliana has been on lurking my PNL for ages, but yesterday I heard it and suddenly I'm falling head-over-heels for it. I love the sound. Either proposed origin on BtN is nice. And it lends itself to the nn Ellie, which I am very fond of.

I don't like "ana" names, but this is prettier than the tired Arianna/Briannas I keep hearing. And Ellie/Elle are cute NN's.

Absolutely adore it.

It's one of my all-time favorite names, and I resent my cousin for stealing it, along with my other faves Hope, Arielle, and Jacob.

She paired it with the name Faith (mn), which I thought was okay, but Eliana nn Ellie is fantastic.
