[Opinions] Zoe or Chloe?
Just wondering which you prefer and why. Which do you think is more common? Chloe, Khloe, Kloe, Cloe or Zoe, Zoey, Zoie, Zoe etc? Have you met more Zoes or Chloes? Which ones popularity will last longer in you opinion?Which is your favorite spelling of the names? Do you consider Zoe and Chloe too common to use?It really surprised me how much Khloe has risen over the past 2 years- I wonder if parents find the K spelling more authentic.Do you think the similar sounding Phoebe and Xanthe will ever match Zoe and Chloe's popularity? Do you know anyone named Phoebe or Xanthe? Would you use them?

Well, I like both, but I'm gonna have to pick Chloe.I don't think either are too common. No, neither will match Zoe or Chloe. I don't know anyone named Phoebe or Xanthe. I might use Phoebe, but not Xanthe. I would definitely use Chloe or Zoe.

I haven't met a Chloe, Phoebe, or Xanthe. I think I've run across a Zoe while working before. I think Zoe will last longer all around. I really like both. I prefer Zoe over Chloe because I love the meaning. I like Zoe spelled that way and Zoi (an alternate Greek transliteration) and Chloe spelled that way and Khloe (also works as an alternate transliteration from Greek). Khloe probably got popular because of the whole K trend that seems to be happening with the Y trend. The parents probably just thought they were being creative. I like Zoe, Chloe, Phoebe, and Xanthe, but the only one I would consider using is Zoe.

Definitely Zoe. Chloe's too much of an overused sudden trend. Zoe has gained popularity too, but not at the same level. Plus Chloe doesn't grab me and I love the meaning of Zoe being life.
Phoebe could potentially have more popularity because of the sitcom Friends... I'm kind of surprised it hasn't risen more than it has. Xanthe is less likely. I'd be more likely to use Phoebe than Xanthe for other reasons, but am not really drawn to either.

ChloeI like Zoey and Chloe. No, I don't consider them too common to use although Chloe is rising in popularity a bit. No, I don't think Phoebe and Xanthe will ever match Zoe and Chloe's popularity mainly because they are harder to spell and don't sound as well. Nope, and I wouldn't use Phoebe or Xanthe but I would use Zoey or Chloe.

I prefer Zoe to Chloe just because I prefer the way Zoe sounds. Chloe is still more common. Out of the spellings you've listed, Zoe and Chloe are the most popular.I'm not sure if Phoebe and Xanthe will ever become as popular as Zoe and Chloe, but I'm guessing not.

Zoe. Chloe is sickeningly cutesy and whiney IMO.

I prefer Zoe. Chloe just looks and sounds ugly. I only like the spelling Zoe. I don't think that Phoebe and Xanthe with ever become that popular.

ZoeI hate Chloe, because it always bothered me how you get a 'K' out of 'CH'. My favorite form of Zoe is Zoya.

ZoeZoe and Xanthe are ok. I dislike Chloe (I've never met a nice one, and I've met many of them!)Phoebe is one of my least favourite names.I know 5 Chloes, 2 Zoes, 1 Phoebe and 1 Xanthe. I also know a Xyzanthe and she pronounces it like Xanthe, lol :S

ZoeChloe is too popular, and in my opinion sounds a lot younger than Zoe.

I prefer Zoe since I thin Chloe looks akward with the Chl beginning. I prefer Zoe and Zoey, but I don't prn them the same way.I don't know anyone named Chloe/Zoe/Phoebe/Xanthe but an old friend of mine wanted to name his daughter Chloe if he had one some day and a wman on a different site I talk to sometime has a daughter name Zoe.

Definitely Chloe. It's cutesy, but I think Chloe has a more grown-up sound than Zoe. Zoe is more of a pet's name to me.
