I love Cecily, this spelling only. It's in my top five for girls.I also like Cecilia, but definitely prefer Cecily.

I love Cecily! It's definitely better than Cecilia, it's just way more spunky.

I love both Cecily and Cecilia, but I have trouble deciding between the two. If I ever had the option, I'd most likely chose Cecily since it's more uncommon.

I think Cecily is alright, I prefer Cecilia. I hate the nickname Cici, though.

Eh, I don't really like it. It's cute and everything, but it's never been one of my favorite names.Cece is a cute NN, though.

I prefer Cecily to Cecilia because it sounds less pompous, though Cecilia is pretty too.
I would love to add both these names to my shortlist but what makes me wary of naming a child by either is that nasty meaning, "blind".

It's beautiful! My aboslute favorite name with that sort of sound to it is Sisely, but out of the names with that origin, Cecily is my favorite. After that it would be plain old Celia, followed by Cecilia.

I love Cecily and Cecilia. Cecily over Cecely, Cecilia over Cecelia. I'm not sure which I like more; I'd probably go with Cecilia just because I love the Simon and Garfunkel song so much. In terms of sound, however, they're equal for me.
