[Opinions] GERARD.
WDYT of Gerard?I really love it, but I'm just wondering about other people's opinions. Also, does it work with my other top names? - Calvin, Franklin, Joel, Camilla, Caroline, Audrey. Thanks.

It's a good name, actually fairly common in my (French-speaking) area.

It's gorgeous, and I think it fits terrifically with your other children!

I looooove Gerard, mainly due to Steven Gerrard, and think it goes well with the other names. They're all pretty classic and un-trendy. I wouldn't call a Gerard Gerry either. It doesn't really need a nickname as it's only two syllables (as well as Gerry, so no need to "shorten" it to that).

I like Gerard to, more so as a middle name for my own tastes, but I would like to see a little boy named Gerard. I agree, don't use Gerry because it loses the romantically oldfashioned charm of Gerard.

I like it. And I do think it works with your other favorites. Very classy set.
And I'm going to have to disagree with New_Chloe. I don't think Gerards are automatically called "Gerry". I would not call a Gerard "Gerry".

I think it fits in very well with your other picks (except perhaps for Joel, which looks much more modern). Gerard is such an elegant old name - I dislike the inevitable nickname "Gerry" though.
